About

Before embarking on our careers in fitness, we worked as design professionals. Jessica, as an Architect, and Laura, a Landscape Architect. While making our mark in our respective creative fields, we shared a passion for fitness. Although we initially met through an allied professionals organization, we were part of the 5am crew at our local gym.  
 
After becoming mothers, the 5am hustle looked a little different. Soon after returning to work, we both decided to step down from our 9-5 jobs to be home with our littles. Adapting to our ever-changing schedules as moms was a challenge, but finding time for ourselves through fitness eased the transition. Together, we have nearly 20 years of experience in fitness with backgrounds focused on strength and body recomposition. 
 
We are the creators of the "Fourth Trimester" early postpartum return to fitness program and the “Strongest You” online training program, which both focus on “Foundation First” - our methodology which involves learning foundational functions and building foundational strength first.

At Designed For You Fitness, we specialize in guiding moms of young children to their strongest selves through training, nutrition, and habit-building. We will work with you to develop a program tailored to your individual needs with the understanding everyone is unique and that your goals, schedule, life, etc. are constantly changing.  From custom weight loss and strength training to macro nutrition plans, we are here to support you every step of the way. Our passion is in the person, and we cannot wait to work with you to achieve your personal goals.
